This depends on the type of lamp and the lamp power expressed in watts (W). Drying time under a LED lamp is shorter than under UV lamps. Under a 48 W LED lamp, colour gels can be cured in as little as 30 seconds, base coats in 30-60 seconds and top coats in 45-60 seconds. Under a UV lamp, each step takes at least 120 seconds.
